I'm a roller skater too — which is part of why Unsplash hired me to photograph a group of skaters in Miami. The brief was three words: unity, diversity, joy. The skaters delivered all three the moment they laced up, because that's what skating does for the people who do it — it's how a lot of us decompress, find each other, and stay in our bodies. The photographs are what that looks like with Miami at the back of the frame.
